General Description

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue for the organization. You will build a multi-channel sales infrastructure from the ground up. The sales strategy will include selling directly to consumers for OTC tests and diagnostics through retail and ecommerce, enterprise and point of care healthcare professionals for rapid test and diagnostics through medical suppliers and distributors, group purchasing organizations (GPO), integrated delivery networks (IDN), and other channels. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and an ability to coach, advise, and motivate sales representatives while building and maintaining a high-performance team. You will report directly to the SVP of Sales and Marketing.

 

Responsibilities 

·      Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy. 

·      Build and manage an outstanding team of sales representatives.

·      Build the sales infrastructure from the ground up.

·      Compile and analyze sales and market data, providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide our sales activities.

·      Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts.

·      Monitor and analyze competitive activity, customers, and market trends.

·      Forecast demand, revenue, and expenses.

·      Determine sales potential and make recommendations.

·      Develop sales plans and direct the team in the achievement of the goals.

·      Prepare and lead the sales budget and regular sales forecast revisions. 

·      Establish and maintain key customer relationships. 

·      Generate leads and establish and nurture client relationships.


 

Education Requirements 

·      Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field.


Experience 

·      A minimum of 5 years of sales management experience.

Knowledge/Skills 

·      Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

·      Track record of sales success within at least one segment of the IVD, rapid diagnostics for point of care, OTC consumer health diagnostic devices, chronic care diagnostic devices or directly to consumer lab development tests. 

·      An existing network of contacts and resources in the industry.

·      Experience implementing sales strategies, systems, and processes.
