Direct liaison between Vice President, ATEC Corporate, and U.S. Sales Channel. Develops regional inventory management strategies to meet MBO directives in Area. Schedules and manages sales force training. Manages the quality and dependability of ATEC product delivery to facilities and distributors. Ensures PO collection within MBO Timelines. Facilitates local ATEC functions within the Area.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Aggressively solicit the expansion of ATEC surgeon and distributor footprint in specific geography
  • Works with distributors and direct representatives to develop business planning and achievement of corporate goals
  • Provides effective spinal market reconnaissance within the geographic area of responsibility
  • In concert with AVP, develops and facilitates strategic inventory management
  • Works with AVP, improving hospital, distributor, and sales representative relationships w/ ATEC
  • Assists AVP and ATEC Corporate Accounts Department in finalizing hospital Agreements
  • Prepares periodic sales data as required relative to sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed distributor or surgeon base expansion
  • Participates as required in events such as seminars, conventions and sales meetings, etc
  • Plans and effectively executes Quarterly Business Reviews with Sales Agents
  • Active involvement with Sales Agents regarding P.O. collection, AR issues, local and regional meetings.

  • Experience engaging with medical marketplace distribution channels
  • Specific knowledge of orthopedic medical devices and general Operating Room protocols
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working directly with senior management
  • Must be literate in Excel, Word, and Power Point, OUTLOOK and Salesforce.com
  • Ability to handle last minute requests and work in a fast paced environment
  • Travel up to 20%

Directly supervises Direct Regional Representatives

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years’ relevant experience in Medical Device Sales or Sales Support. Must have at least 2+ years’ experience in a people management role. A background in Sales analytics is highly desirable.

For roles based in the United States that require access to hospital facilities, must be eligible for and maintain credentials at all required hospitals, including meeting any applicable physical requirements or vaccination requirements (including the COVID-19 vaccine, as applicable).
