This is an exciting opportunity to join the field sales team of a rapidly growing, fast-paced, results-oriented, and innovative advanced wound care company. The Account Manager represents HARTMANN in the sale of wound care solutions to healthcare facilities by actively prospecting, providing clinical education, and closing deals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently achieve or exceed the annual territory sales target established by the company through strategic planning, relationship building, account targeting, extensive product knowledge and exceptional customer service.
  • Capitalize on the expanding wound care market, maximizing sales profits and increasing market share for the assigned region by establishing new customer relationships and continuously identifying opportunities to expand sales with current accounts.
  • Develop and maintain territory plans outlining how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis.
  • Effectively communicate appropriate technical, clinical, and product information to customers to drive demand for HARTMANN products.
  • Create and cultivate relationships and build rapport with key customers, decision makers and clinicians.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key customers and customer groups in wound care centers, home care, hospitals, and nursing homes.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and in-services for identified customer groups to educate end users on the clinical benefits of HARTMANN products.
  • Provide feedback to sales leadership on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
  • Demonstrate effective organizational skills, utilizing the CRM system to manage appointments, customers, prospects and sales pipeline.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years B2B sales experience. Medical products/wound care sales is preferred but not required.
  • Has a track record of developing and achieving sales objectives individually and collaboratively. Able to effectively cultivate, negotiate, manage, and push complex deals to a close.
  • Builds strong relationships, establish credibility with key stakeholders, and maintain high levels of customer engagement and service.
  • Exhibits a hunter mentality, is proactive in seeking out new opportunities, actively prospecting and pursuing potential accounts or leads, and competitive in meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Displays determination and resilience to overcome obstacles and rejection, staying focused on goals even in the face of setbacks.
  • Customer-focused with a patient-centric approach. Seeks to understand the unique needs of patients and caregivers and recommends the right solutions and products to improve patient care.
  • Quickly learns market strategy, clinical information, product features, and sales tools, with the ability to translate this information into compelling sales pitches.
  • Engaging and capable speaker, presenter and educator with strong presence and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Hard-working with a solid work ethic. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must reside within major metropolitan area of the territory’s customer market. Demonstrates commitment to travel as required within the territory.
