The Job
We are currently recruiting an entry-level Medical Device Sales Representative. This person should have a strong track record of achievement either through school or within a sales performance scale. The individual in this role will be selling business products related to the medical device industry and will be dealing with a wide array of medical professionals, administrators and executives.
You should be comfortable with technology and technical related products and have the willingness and ability to learn quickly. You must have an excellent professional demeanor and be comfortable representing our products to key prospective clients. Recent college graduates and entry-level talent are encouraged to apply.
What You Will Be Doing
- Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs
- Confer with customers, engineers, and medical professionals to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support
- Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery
- Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions
- Negotiate contracts based on product quality, service, delivery, and performance
- Keep up-to-date on all product and industry developments
- Define, analyze and solve manufacturing problems
- Provide outstanding customer service with immediate conflict resolution
- Convince prospective clients in the medical industry to purchase complex systems to help them reach their desired outcomes

- Sales acumen - knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Technological expertise - able to learn new technologies, comfortable working with multiple database systems, and explain complex technological concepts in a way that others can easily understand
- Persistent - aggressively seek personal growth and hit metric goals, even in the face of opposition. Take calculated risks to ensure completion of assigned tasks
- Social perceptiveness - be aware of other people’s reactions and understand why they react the way they do. Maintain a positive, friendly composure even in difficult situations
