What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and maintain customer relationships promoting Packaging Personified capabilities and performance, resolve problems and ultimately strengthen the partnership.
- Travel 40-50% in surrounding territory.
- Communicate with prospective customers to gain an understanding of the potential opportunity; purchase volume, product application, service and product performance needs, etc. to validate and close opportunities.
- Gather necessary information related to service and product requirements to be shared with internal stakeholders.
- Develop a working knowledge of internal systems and procedures to support the delivery of goods and services.
- Investigate and resolve or support the resolution of customer problems.
- Attend trade shows as necessary.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you get along with clients, customers, vendors, co-workers and supervisors and perform any other duties under the scope of this position.
What You’ll Need
- 5 years minimum work experience in B2B Industrial Sales, preference toward sale of flexible packaging.
- Understanding of flexible packaging including printed and unprinted side-weld bags and roll stock and associated market applications.
- Ability to negotiate with customers in order to win sales opportunities and resolve challenges.
- Ability to build and maintain company position to support long-term relationships with each customer.
