POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Field Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Field Sales Representatives who sell our premium chocolate fundraising products and comprehensive fundraising solutions to schools, organizations, and other groups to achieve high sales. This is a remote, in-territory leadership role with responsibilities including coaching and managing Field Sales Representatives, overseeing cold calling and in-person sales strategies, and ensuring the execution of best practices to run strong fundraisers. You will report to the Director, US Sales – Fundraising, working closely to drive growth, exceed sales targets, and optimizing sales activities using CRM and mapping tools.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 15 Field Sales Representatives focusing on training, coaching, and performance development. Audit sales funnels and CRM activity to ensure consistency, accountability, and alignment with company standards.
  • Territory Development: Oversee and support the Field Sales Representative in executing their list-based territory plans, including cold calling, strategic follow-up execution, networking, and market development to drive new business.
  • Sales Coaching: Evaluate and improve in-person sales presentations, ensuring alignment with company messaging.
  • Fundraiser Execution: Support representatives in planning and launching successful fundraising campaigns, including use of a strong student incentive program, school kickoff events and motivational presentations.
  • Client Communication: Ensure clear, professional, and responsive communication with sponsors throughout the fundraising cycle.
  • Utilize Tools: Train and enforce the use of sales tools, including CRM systems, Sale Tracker, and Resource Kit.
  • Post-Sale Strategy: Guide representatives in fundraiser wrap-ups, gathering feedback, securing re-signs, and generating referrals.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key sales metrics (visits, presentations, close rates, total sales, retention) and provide regular coaching to drive continuous improvement.
 
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • 3-5 years in sales or field-based roles, including 1–2 years in a supervisory leadership capacity. 
  • Fundraising experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to coach and motivate sales representatives to exceed targets.
  • Experience managing remote teams or working in a decentralized sales structure.
  • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, from prospecting to customer retention.
  • Comfortable presenting to school leaders, community organizations, and nonprofit groups.
  • Ability to interpret performance metrics, identify opportunities, and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full-time remote schedule.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% and live near a major airport.
