Summary/objective
The Training Director is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of all training programs within contact center, identifying training needs, designing curriculum, managing Training and QA leadership team(s), and ensuring alignment with business goals by assessing employee skills and performance to optimize overall employee development and organizational effectiveness.

- Implementing and Developing Salesforce from Scratch: This involves setting up Salesforce to meet your organizationβs needs, collaborating closely with IT to ensure seamless integration with existing systems, and customizing the platform to optimize workflows.
- CPQ Knowledge: CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) is essential for streamlining the sales process. It helps in creating accurate quotes quickly and efficiently, ensuring pricing consistency, and reducing errors.
- Developing Sales Skills: To achieve a 40% conversion rate, focus on training in areas such as effective communication, understanding customer needs, objection handling, and closing techniques. Role-playing and real-time feedback can be very beneficial.
- Creating Professional Training Material: This involves designing comprehensive training programs for both sales and service teams. The material should be engaging, easy to understand, and tailored to the specific needs of your team.
- Running a Training Team: Managing a training team requires strong leadership skills, the ability to adapt to seasonal changes, and strategies to maintain high conversion rates. Regular performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives are key.
Required education and experience
- Bachelorβs Degree; Masterβs Degree preferred
- 5+ years of related experience in a contact center environment is a plus
- Director or management experience in training, coaching, and/or mentoring role is preferred
- Experience in developing and implementing Salesforce CPQ
